This application provides weather information for general informational purposes only. It is not intended for navigation or safety-critical decision-making. Understand each display

NOAA observations and chart images are identified by source. App-generated summaries, reference geometry, historical trends, and descriptive comparisons are separate transformations, not NOAA instructions or endorsements. Station observations apply at their measured locations; tidal-current predictions apply to identified stations and bins.

Check times and availability

Issue time, valid time, observation time, retrieval time, and cache age are different. A displayed image or successful retrieval does not establish that a forecast is current. Check the printed chart times and any available status information. Missing, old, or failed data must not be treated as a complete picture of conditions.

No navigation or active hazard monitoring

Reference lines and location displays do not establish a navigable track, depth, hazard clearance, or detailed harbor access. They are not steering instructions. Browser location can pause or become inaccurate, and PassageBuoys does not continuously monitor hazards, deliver emergency assistance, or replace official warnings and appropriate navigation equipment.
